Brit’s Batch will be opening a brick-and-mortar location in the north Houston area, according to a Dec. 11 message from the business’s owner, Britney Ong. Ong—who grew up in Missouri City—said she initially started the bakery when she was 16 years old to fund her club volleyball membership.

Brit’s Batch sells homemade desserts including cookies, cakes and coffee drinks, according to the business’s Facebook page. The company previously operated through pop-up events and to-go orders.
