Sona Glocal Kitchen—a restaurant serving global food with local customers in mind—is now open in Spring, according to an April 25 email from the business owners.

Sona Veysalova owns the restaurant and runs it with her family who are from Turkey and previously lived in Russia and California before moving to Cleveland, Texas.
Sona Glocal Kitchen serves breakfast and brunch items—such as crepes and omelets—as well as lunch and dinner courses. The restaurant’s lunch and dinner menu boasts courses such as stuffed cabbage, samsa—sweet and spicy pumpkin wrapped in flaky pastry—shashlik—marinated meat—soups, salads and pasta.
