According to a May 9 news release from the Arizona-based company, Salad and Go opened its first Greater Houston-area location in February followed by an additional location in Katy, which also opened May 13.
"Salad and Go has seen great success as we expanded into the Greater Houston area. Our Houston communities have been so welcoming and eager to try our concept that we can't wait to begin servicing Spring and Katy," Salad and Go CEO Charlie Morrison said in a statement.
Salad and Go offers a menu of salads, wraps, breakfast burritos and soups as well as beverages, including lemonades, teas and cold brew coffees. The company has more than 90 locations across Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada with plans to have more than 135 locations nationwide by the end of 2023, according to the release.
"Our business model not only allows our team members to serve guests high-quality, healthy and nutritious food efficiently in our drive-thrus but ensures freshness and affordability for everyone," Morrison said. "We are grateful to the new communities in Houston that have welcomed us and embrace dour mission, and we'll continue to go beyond."
In celebration of the two new openings, Salad and Go partnered with the Houston Food Bank to donate roughly 1,600 fresh salads made during training week at the two new locations to those in need. www.saladandgo.com
