Tim Hortons will celebrate the grand opening of its second Greater Houston-area location Dec. 16, according to a Dec. 7 news release.

Located at 5312 W. Richey Road, Houston, the Canadian coffeeshop will offer iced and hot coffee- and espresso-based beverages as well as doughnuts, doughnut holes known as "Timbits" and made-to-order breakfast sandwiches. The new location will feature both a double drive-thru and dine-in seating.

"We're excited to continue to grow our presence in this community and get to know more Houstonians with the opening of our Richey Road restaurant," said Ekrem Ozer, president of Tim Hortons, U.S., in a statement.

According to the release, the first 50 guests to arrive at the Richey Road location Dec. 16 will receive free coffee for a year. The grand opening celebration will also include prizes, food samples and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. www.timhortons.com
