After spending its first month in business offering only curbside service, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux officially opened its dining room at 21930 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, at 11 a.m. on May 6.
To curb the spread of coronavirus, the dining room will open at 25% capacity and has implemented several protocols, including requiring all team members to wear a mask and gloves, which will be changed frequently throughout their shift; temporarily eliminating waiting areas and adding floor graphics to indicate social distancing requirements; implementing a three-step table cleaning process; checking each team member's temperature before clocking in; and having dedicated team members whose sole job is to clean countertops, tables, chairs, door handles and other contact points.
In addition to its dining room, the restaurant is continuing to offer curbside service and alcohol to go.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux opened in Grand Parkway Marketplace II at 21930 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, in March. While the restaurant was initially planning to host a grand opening celebration March 23, due to the coronavirus outbreak Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is open for curbside pickup and delivery only.
The Louisiana-based sports bar broke ground on the new restaurant in October 2018 and offers Cajun cuisine and seafood, such as gumbo and po'boys, as well as burgers, salads and wraps. The new location also features a large outdoor patio, televisions and a full bar with signature cocktails.
The restaurant is offering alcohol to-go with a food purchase and is also offering $35 family meals, which serves four people and includes a choice of appetizer, entree and side. Additionally, from April 2-30, guests can buy three to-go orders for $30 or more (pre-tax) and bring in receipts to receive a free family meal. 225-330-4533. www.walk-ons.com
