Klein ISD saw a sharp increase in active coronavirus cases two weeks after the Thanksgiving holiday while Spring ISD’s cases steadily increased as of Dec. 10.
SISD’s active cases generally remained steady with a sharp decrease in cases in high school students. However, the district has clarified a set of data on its COVID-19 dashboard labeled as “Null” represents staff who serve multiple campuses and teachers who teach more than one grade. There are currently 49 active cases among these staff members, more cases than all the other campuses' active student and staff cases combined.
KISD saw a huge increase in numbers, jumping from single to double digits in all levels of schools. Districtwide, KISD has 93 active cases, 58 among students and 35 among staff.
