On Oct. 5, City Place’s Marriott hotel will hold a five-year anniversary celebration with live music and $5 bites and drinks, according to a Sept. 13 news release from City Place. Marriott has locations all around the world, and the City Place location boasts features such as a 24,000-square-foot event center, pet-friendly spaces and an on-site restaurant with Texas cuisine called SwitcHouse Plates & Pours.

The Fab 5—a Beatles and ’60s music tribute band—will perform at the anniversary celebration, and guests can explore a new art installation by Houston artist Reginald Adams called “Luminous Labyrinth.”
