Select stores in the Willowbrook Mall reopened April 24 to offer curbside pickup amid the coronavirus following Gov. Greg Abbott's April 17 orders to reopen the Texas economy in phases.
Abbott's orders allowed retailers to open April 24 with retail to-go, similar to how restaurants have been offering curbside pickup, delivery and takeout during the outbreak. The orders also reopened state parks April 20 and lifted surgery restrictions April 22. Abbott is also set to announce further changes April 27.
The mall will begin by opening several shops April 24, according to the Willowbrook Mall website. Pickup will take place at the mall food court entrance between Dillard’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Hours of operation are Mon.-Sat. 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
