Texas Master Chorale will celebrate its 40th anniversary during the 2024-25 concert season, officials announced in a July 31 news release.

About the program

Led by Founder and Artistic Director Brad Bouley, the TMC is a mixed choral ensemble of 100 auditioned singers that performs a variety of choral masterworks from classical and sacred to contemporary and secular. Auditions for the 2024-25 season were held Aug. 4-5 and rehearsals will begin Aug. 19.

The framework

While the organization's main office is in Tomball, the Texas Master Chorale Guild—which supports TMC by hosting fundraisers and providing volunteers during concerts—is located in Spring. Additionally, weekly rehearsals and performances are held at John Wesley Methodist Church in north Houston.
