Friendswood Grocery opening delayed due to coronavirus

Originally expected to open in early March, Friendswood Grocery's debut has been pushed back because the coronavirus has slowed the permitting process, business manager Aires Alfonso said. Located at 214 S. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, the locally owned store will carry convenience store items and a limited selection of produce and meat, as well as a Mexican kitchen where customers can order meals.
