Friendswood Community Hospital will open at the beginning of March, Suchmor Thomas, emergency care physician and owner, said in an email Dec. 7.

The hospital was originally planned to open by the end of the year but was delayed due to construction supply issues, Thomas said in the email.

The hospital will include emergency care, cardiology, or heart care, gastroenterology, or digestive system care, pulmonary, or lung care, an internal medicine specialist, orthopedics, or bone care, and radiology, according to the hospital’s website.
