Friendswood ISD will close its schools the week of March 16-20 to prevent the broader spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, along with several school districts in the region, according to a COVID-19 update on the district website.

All school events and activities will be cancelled.

The district recommends closely monitoring communication from the district for additional information for parents and district employees.
