2024 Pearland Turkey Trot
This ninth annual event is co-hosted by Houston Running Company and starts at Independence Park. Participants have the option to run one, four or six miles, walk or handcycle. Children can also run in the Kids K.

Those interested can participate in this tournament at Schulz Sportspark. The event helps raise money and toys for a toy drive. In addition to a registration fee, each team must bring one new toy or new bicycle as a donation. First place gets a gift card, award and shirts, while second place gets shirts.

This campout at Brazos Bend State Park will feature events and activities like hiking, fishing and stargazing, among other activities. The event is put on with the help of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. To reserve a campsite, those interested must pay a non-refundable $30 donation. Items such as tents and food will be provided.

Classic cars and trucks will be on display at Walter Hall Park in this event free for attendees. Those ages 12 and under will get to vote for the junior judge’s favorite award. Throughout October, Froberg Farm in Alvin will hold what officials call the largest fall festival in Brazoria County. Activities include a corn maze, a bee coaster, a rubber duck race, mining sluice and photo opportunities, along with several other attractions. Attendees can also listen to live music and see pig races.
