There are several events taking place for the 4th of July in the Pearland-Friendswood area. Check out a few of them below. This list is not comprehensive.

Independence Day Celebration

This event is a pre-Independence Day poolside party at Shadow Creek Parkway. Burgers and drinks will be served, and music will be played.

City of Alvin July 4th Firework Display

The celebration will begin with a live performance by the Alvin Community College Band from 7:30-9 p.m. Later on in the night will be the fireworks show, launching from Briscoe Park. Parking is available at Alvin Community College, or ACC, the Alvin Recreation Center and other surrounding areas near Briscoe Park. Briscoe Park itself will be closed for the event, but the display could be viewed from nearby locations.


129th Annual Friendswood 4th of July Celebration

The celebration will start with a parade, and entail rides, games, food and entertainment for community members to enjoy. Entertainment will continue starting at 7 p.m. and The Spazmatics will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Park. Later on in the evening the celebration will end with a fireworks display.

Celebration of Freedom

The event at Independence Park will feature live music by Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band on the H-E-B Entertainment Stage, kids activities, and an 18-minute fireworks display beginning at 9 p.m.


Fourth of July Celebration

The event at Texas Avenue Park will feature live music by the Houston Highlander Pipe Band with food, followed by an evening of fireworks.
