A new $53 million project involving hundreds of new apartments in Pearland was filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Dec. 12.

The details

The project, titled the Pelican Pearland Town Center Multifamily, will start construction in January and last for two years, according to the filing. The project will be built out at Pearland Town Center.

Once built out, the development will include around 380 high-density style residential units, as well as a 10,000-square-foot club house, amenity courtyards and parking, among other amenities, according to the filing.

The project will total nearly 413,000 square feet, according to the filing documents.

What else?

Pelican Builders, based out of Houston, has a listing for the development on its website. Describing it as an extension of Pearland Town Center, it will be close to shopping, dining and have access to walking trails.

While the filing states it will take two years to build out, the website states it will be delivered in late 2026.
