Millar Inc., a medical device company that specializes in developing and manufacturing pressure sensor-enabled devices for medical and clinical applications, opened a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Pearland, according to a news release from the Pearland Economic Development Corp.

The facility occupies a total area of 56,000 square feet. It is situated on a 5-acre site and is home to approximately 140 employees for Millar's research and development and manufacturing capabilities, according to the release.

“Millar’s selection of Pearland for its headquarters and manufacturing facility is a testament not only to our status as a community of choice in the Greater Houston area but also to our efforts to become the region’s premier biomedical hub,” Pearland Mayor Kevin Cole said in the release.
