Brazoria County is reporting 12 new cases June 9. (Community Impact staff)

Brazoria County is reporting 12 new cases June 9, three of which are probable. The county is also reporting 16 new recoveries and two new deaths. Both deaths were nursing home patients.

The total case count is 770, which is lower than it has been since the county stopped reporting Texas Department of Criminal Justice inmate cases June 8.


Of the nine new confirmed cases, two individuals are 20-29 years old; four are 30-39 years old; two are 40-49 years old; and one is 70-79 years old.

Of the nine confirmed cases, four individuals are from Pearland; two are from Angleton; one is from Freeport; one is from Danbury; and one is from Iowa Colony.
