Brazoria County reported its 12th coronavirus-related death May 22, a nursing home resident from Pearland. This was reported alongside nine new cases of COVID-19 and three recoveries.

There are now 825 total cases in the county, including 394 confirmed cases, 411 recoveries, eight probable cases and 12 deaths.

The nine new cases reported today include one nursing home resident from Alvin and two Texas Department of Criminal Justice inmates.
