The upcoming Brazoria County Library Foundation book sale event will take place March 18-19.

The event will be held at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds in Angleton at 901 S. Downing St. The sale will feature items from the 12 library branches in the county’s library system, including books, audiobooks, DVDs and some items donated by the public.

According to a press release, the items will be sold at a discounted price, many selling for $1 or less. Only cash and checks will be accepted. The proceeds from the event will be used to support Brazoria County Library System projects.

Donations of “gently used books, audiobooks, DVDs and other media” can be dropped off at any of the 12 county libraries, including Alvin, Angleton, Brazoria, Clute, Danbury, Freeport, Lake Jackson, Manvel, two in Pearland, Sweeny, and West Columbia.

The release calls for people age 16 and older interested in volunteering to help with the event and its setup to email [email protected].
