The city of Friendswood released a weather warning ahead of expected freezing temperatures Thursday, Dec. 22, in the afternoon.
The release states the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory from noon-midnight Dec. 22 as well as a hard freeze warning and a wind chill warning from 6 p.m. Dec. 22-noon Dec. 24 for the city of Friendswood. These warnings project inland winds at or above 25 miles per hour, temperatures at or below 24 degrees Fahrenheit and wind chill temperatures near or below zero degrees.
