After operating the site as a satellite office for more than a year, Fidelity National Title opened its location for full-time hours, Escrow Officer Casie Lowe said.

Previously, the site was just appointment only, but the business opted to renovate the site, Lowe said.

Business Development Manager Joanne Scalise said she and Laurie Ford, the division president for the company, grew up in Brazoria County and wanted to expand their business there.

“Everyone asked for it, so we did it,” Scalise said.

The business has locations all across the U.S., including several in the Greater Houston area. It offers title insurance services for a number of items, including residential, commercial and real estate, according to the company’s website.
