SMART Core Labs, an educational venture tailored to youth STEM programming, will open a new Manvel location in Sedona Lakes Plaza. The 3,000-square-foot space can accommodate up to 30 students for after-school and weekend STEM programs, including robotics, Scratch, Python, Java, Roblox and unity coding, according to a news release. In addition, classes will be offered in artificial intelligence.

“When we opened SMART Core Labs in 2017, we knew there was an unmet need for recreational STEM education in Pearland and surrounding growing communities. Our plans six years ago always included an ambitious plan for growth,” said Hamid Ali, SMART Core Labs founder and owner. “This new location in Manvel will build on the superior STEM programming we’ve developed and offer access to new students in a suburban community with few options outside of traditional after-school activities."
