Mikki's on Wheels launched in February, said Sharon Baldwin, the publicity and media relations strategist representing Mikki’s Soul Food. The food truck’s next big event will be April 9 at Praise in the Park, a free concert event, in Midtown Park at 2811 Travis St, Houston, from noon-7 p.m., Baldwin said.
Mikki's Soulfood Cafe has two brick-and-mortar locations at 10500 W. Bellfort Ave., Ste. 100, Houston, and 9603 Broadway St., Ste. 108, Pearland.
The food truck will offer various menu items from their physical locations but will also introduce new items such as a cornbread waffle stuffed with red beans and rice with sausage and oxtail macaroni, shrimp chicken and lobster pasta, Baldwin said.
