Here are six restaurants that opened in Pearland and Friendswood in September and October.
The Chicken Salad Chick opened its newest chain location at 2110 Pearland Parkway, Ste. 108, Pearland. The restaurant, which opened Oct. 21, serves over a dozen types of chicken salad, along with salads, soups, sandwiches and desserts. Hubcap Grill celebrated its soft opening Oct. 7 at 5627 Broadway St., Pearland, where the Big Humphrey’s was formerly located. Once the restaurant hires more staff, officials said they hope to have a grand opening. Hubcap Grill serves burgers with fresh products. Popular flavors include the Philly cheesesteak burger and the "Hubcap decker" burger, which is a double-meat cheeseburger. 832-770-9230.
The Teahouse Tapioca and Tea opened in the Center at Pearland Parkway in early October. Located at 2470 Pearland Parkway, Ste. 120, Pearland, the business sells boba tea and snacks, including popcorn chicken, French fries and fresh fruit. 281-372-6750.
