Manvel City Council is set to hold a public hearing at its April 6 meeting on the final adoption of the city’s comprehensive and major thoroughfare plans.
The plans provide the city with direction for land use, transportation, infrastructure and economic development, according to city documents.

City officials first introduced drafts of both plans during its Oct. 6 meeting, as previously reported by Community Impact.
The proposed comprehensive plan updates the city’s 2015 version and includes revisions to the thoroughfare plan, which was last adopted in 2021.
The city’s planning, development and zoning commission held a public hearing March 23 and unanimously voted to recommend that the city adopt both the updated comprehensive plan and the revised major thoroughfare plan, according to city documents.
