What motivated you to run for Manvel City Council?
I was born here. I’ve watched Manvel grow from the inside, not from the outside looking in. I’m running because I care about protecting the kind of town I grew up in while making sure we grow the right way.
What would be your top priorities over the next three years?
First, protect homeowners from carrying the cost of growth. Second, make sure infrastructure keeps pace before expansion. And third, keep city government transparent and straightforward so that residents and those investing in Manvel understand what decisions are being made and why.
How would you plan for infrastructure and services during rapid growth?
Growth is coming whether we like it or not, so we must be prepared. Roads, drainage, public safety and utilities should come first—not after. New development should help fund the infrastructure it requires, rather than shifting the financial burden onto existing residents.
How would you balance development with preserving rural character?
I grew up here when you knew your neighbors and the roads weren’t crowded. That feeling matters. We can grow, but we shouldn’t lose the space, the character, and the sense of community that make Manvel home. Growth should fit us—not change who we are.
