From pickle festivals to turkey trots, these are eight events to attend throughout November and December.

Old Pearland Farmers Market

The farmers market at Independence Park features fresh produce and meats, baked goods, handmade items, live music and activities for kids.

Blue Santa Shootout Softball Tournament

Support Friendswood’s Blue Santa Program by participating in this day of friendly competition. Players must register in advance and bring a new toy for a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Alvin Pickle Festival

The two-day event celebrating pickles will feature a pickle-eating contest and pickle-themed items for sale, as well as a bouncy house, petting zoo and pony rides.

Santa’s Bake Shop

Hosted by Heritage Gardeners, the pop-up bake shop will include family-favorite recipes, a holiday market and raffle prizes.

Pearland Turkey Trot

The event offers several different races, including a 6-mile, 4-mile, 1-mile and Kids’ K race.

Flapjack 5K Fun Run/Walk

Individuals can compete in a 5k run, 5k walk or Kids K race for the chance to win free Whataburger for a year. A pancake breakfast will be served to all participants after the race.

Hometown Christmas Parade

Bundle up and watch Pearland’s streets fill with twinkling lights and merry dancers as the city celebrates the holidays with a Christmas parade.

Tour de Lites

The annual holiday bike ride departs from Pearland's Independence Park and rides through neighboring communities to tour holiday light displays.
