The details
The proposed amendment would allocate additional funding for:
- Campus libraries
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning projects
- Police equipment and storage
- Turf replacement
- Band uniforms
- Cafeteria improvements
- Security camera and other technology replacements
The background
During development of the 2025-26 budget, the district identified priorities aligned with district goals, student instruction, extracurricular programs and facility needs.
To adopt a balanced budget at the start of the school year, some priorities were deferred for possible consideration at a later date, according to district documents.
