Looking back
As of June, AISD ranked as the eighth fastest-growing district in the Greater Houston area, according to a report from Population and Survey Analysts, or PASA.
The district has added more than 3,000 students in the past five years, which is an 11% increase.
Enrollment is projected to grow by nearly 23%, or about 7,000 students, by the 2034-35 school year, documents show.
