Alvin ISD’s Operation Backpack has launched again this year, offering school supply vouchers to students in need throughout the summer to prepare for the 2025-26 school year.

What you need to know

Vouchers for school supplies are available at every AISD campus, according to a social media post from the district. They will be available on the following dates:
  • June 9-12
  • July 1-3
  • July 7-10
  • July 14-17
Vouchers will no longer be available after July 17, officials said.

The details

To receive a voucher, the district provided the following steps:
  1. Visit any AISD campus during one of the four weeks before July 17 and request a school supply voucher at the front office.
  2. For multiple children, one voucher is needed for each child. They can all be requested at one campus.
  3. On the designated pickup day, bring the voucher to receive the backpack and school supplies.
Distribution will be available for students during the week of July 28, and each campus will provide further information on the exact pickup date, according to the social media post.
