The donation will go toward FISD’s special education department in support of its dyslexia support and services.
The overview
The Halls made the donation to support dyslexia intervention as they encountered dyslexia through their two daughters, the news release noted.
FISD currently serves about 710 students with dyslexia, and about 230 of those students receive direct intervention through special education services, according to this news release.
