The storefront in Manvel will be the sixth new Lowe’s location to open in Texas in less than a year, according to company representatives.

Set to open at the end of the month, the new Lowe’s will feature approximately 94,000 square feet of retail space and 30,000 square feet of outdoor garden space.

Representatives from the company also said the store will employ more than 100 associates to help customers with projects of all sizes.

One more thing

The store will also debut self-service paint kiosks, a standard feature for all new stores.

According to a Jan. 6 news release, the kiosks will reduce wait times, keep projects moving and free up associates to help customers with broader project needs.

A grand opening will be held Jan. 30 and Jan. 31, featuring product demos and giveaways, workshops for kids and free food, per the release.
