Galveston-based restaurant Cooper’s Landing has opened its second location in Friendswood, owner Jim Somerville said in a July 14 email.

The drink menu

Cooper's Landing serves beer, wine and signature cocktails, including raspberry lemon martinis, mojitos, cosmopolitans, ranch water and lemon drop martinis.

Other drinks include a blue lagoon martini, ultimate spicy margarita, smoked old fashioned and cucumber gin martini, among other drinks, according to the restaurant's menu.

Main course


The restaurant serves seafood, including baked stuffed shrimp, gulf red snapper, seared sesame tuna and seafood pasta, among other items.

The restaurant also serves a variety of steak and meats, including bone-in ribeye, oven-roasted prime rib, braised lamb shank and beef tenderloin skewers. Other items include chicken pasta and deep-fried pork chop, according to the menu.

For dessert

The restaurant also offers desserts, including chocolate cake, creme brulee, coconut cream pie, key lime pie, bread pudding with ice cream and carrot cake, according to the menu.


One last thing

The restaurant also offers a brunch menu on Saturday and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the menu.

Brunch items include steak and eggs, steak omelet, lobster omelet, salmon benedict, crab cake benedict and french toast, among other items.

Customers can also purchase a brunch package for $37, which includes a brunch entree with bottomless mimosas, according to the menu.
