Ed Robb, the incumbent for The Woodlands Township Position 4 director's position, is on his way to earning his third straight victory on the board, with 93 percent of Montgomery County precincts reporting and 88 percent of Harris County precincts reporting.
Robb received 11,132 votes, or 66 percent of the vote. Robb's challengers included, Sharon Lavery, with 2,828 vote, or 17 percent, Jim Meszaros, with 1,572 votes, or 9 percent and Walter Boyd, with 1,246 votes, or 7 percent.
"I am pleased the voters placed confidence in me once more, and I pledge to continue to work hard to protect the quality of life in The Woodlands," Robb said. "I will continue to have as high priorities public safety, and be good stewards of our tax dollars, transparency in our government, and working toward positive solutions in mobility."
Robb is seeking his third term on the township board of directors. Boyd, Lavery and Meszaros are seeking their first terms on the board. Township directors serve two-year terms on the board.
