July 4
1. Due to the holiday, all Fort Bend County libraries will be closed Tuesday, July 4. 2. Fort Bend County fathers are invited to take part in a six-week curriculum program, 24:7 DADS Improve Your Parenting Game from 6-8 p.m Tuesday, July 4 at the Mamie George Community Center. July 5
3. Fort Bend County Libraries’ University Branch location will screen the comedy-adventure movie "Zootopia" for Family Movie Day from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, July 5. The PG-rated movie is a little under two hours, and the event will include free snacks and a kid's activity. 14010 University Blvd., Sugar Land. The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the opening of Bacon Bros Public House with a ribbon cutting ceremony from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, July 5. 5. The George Memorial Library is offering a free computer class from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, July 6. Computers 101 will teach the basics of computer use for adults.
