Upcoming projects

Gene Campbell Road widening

Project: Gene Campbell Road will be widened from two to four lanes between FM 1314 and FM 1485. The project will also include an additional turn lane and the reconstruction of ditches.

Update: Survey and preliminary engineering work has begun for the project, Joshua Pascua, chief of staff for Montgomery County Precinct 4 Commissioner Matt Gray, confirmed via email Nov. 6.

Valley Ranch Parkway, FM 1314 turn lane

Project: The existing median on the north side of the intersection of Valley Ranch Parkway and FM 1314 will be removed, and a left-turn lane for motorists traveling southbound from Valley Ranch Parkway onto FM 1314 will be constructed.

Update: Construction began the first week of November and is expected to wrap up before Thanksgiving, Pascua confirmed Nov. 6.

Ford Road widening (Segment 1)

Project:
Ford Road will be widened from two to four lanes between Hwy. 59 and Needham Road. The project will also include a turn lane and the reconstruction of ditches.


Update: Construction began in October, Pascua confirmed Nov. 6.

Sorters Road widening (Segment 2)

Project: Sorters Road will be widened from two to four lanes between North Bentwood Channel and Northpark Drive. The project will also include a turn lane and the reconstruction of ditches.

Update: Construction began in October, Pascua confirmed Nov. 6.
