1. Grand Parkway exit, entrance ramps in New Caney
Project: Montgomery County will be working with the Texas Department of Transportation to build a one-lane westbound exit ramp and a one-lane eastbound entrance ramp to connect the Grand Parkway’s main lanes and frontage roads, according to July 29 Montgomery County Commissioner’s Court meeting documents. These ramps will be located along the Grand Parkway’s Segment G between where the roadway intersects with Valley Ranch Parkway and Hwy. 59.
Update: Montgomery County Commissioner’s Court approved an advance funding agreement for the project under the July 29 meeting’s consent agenda, which is made up of multiple items voted on in one motion.
In February, commissioners also approved an advanced funding agreement with TxDOT for the project, but without specific funding amounts, as previously reported by Community Impact.
