Educators are invited to learn about job opportunities at Splendora ISD at the district's Teacher Career Fair on April 9.
What you need to know
The Teacher Career Fair will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Piney Woods Elementary, located at 23395 FM 2090, Splendora. Lisa Foster, community education and communications coordinator for SISD, said the district is offering highly competitive benefits, including:
- A starting salary of $63,000
- Stipends, including $7,000 for Algebra 1 and English 1, and $4,000 for bilingual positions
- A teacher incentive allotment
- Free Next Level Urgent Care for staff
"We are looking to connect with passionate educators to join our team," Foster said in a March 13 email.
