NCISD volunteers can enrich student education by supporting students, teachers and programs at various campuses, according to the district’s volunteer website page. The school year begins Aug. 6 for students.
To sign up as an NCISD volunteer, a community member must:
- Complete an application
- Take an online orientation
- Pass a criminal history/background check
- Sign up for volunteer assignments once their application is approved

All volunteers must submit a new application each school year, according to NCISD.
