Big Rivers Grand Texas water park in New Caney is now open for the season, with full-hour weekends slated to begin May 3.

Big Rivers Grand Texas includes attractions such as water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, multiple water playgrounds and many amusement park rides, according to the business’s website. The water park officially opened for the 2025 season April 5.

According to the park's website, upcoming events include:
  • Easter at Big Rivers: Take photos with the Easter bunny, compete in a Peeps eating contest and hunt for eggs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. April 20.
  • Cajunfest: Enjoy live music, crawfish eating and racing from 11 a.m. April 26 until 6 p.m. April 27.
  • Adult Glow Night: For $24.99, attendees age 21 and older can enjoy the water park at night with live music and drinks from 7-11 p.m. May 16.

  • Single-day tickets: $24.99-$44.99 (online prices)
  • Season passes: $64.99-$89.99 or $339.99 for a four-pass bundle
The park will be open:
  • 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from April 15-27—as well as on Friday, April 18—and from Sept. 6-28
  • 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from May 3-23 and Aug. 1-Sept. 1
  • 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays from May 25-Aug. 7
  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from May 2-23
  • 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays May 24-Aug. 9
