The details
Per the release, the new nonstop routes include IAH to:

- El Salvador International Airport in Comalapa, El Salvador, beginning Dec. 19
- Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, beginning Dec. 20
“There’s a lot to be excited about as the new year approaches—from our expanding network to rolling out our first class experience—and we’re thrilled to offer Houston-area travelers even more affordable flight options to exciting international destinations as we continue to grow,” said Rob Harris, corporate communications manager for Frontier Airlines, in a statement.
Jim Szczesniak, director of aviation for Houston Airports System, said the expanded offerings at IAH should help travel in and out of the Houston area as the 2026 FIFA World Cup nears.
“This new nonstop service to Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras expands Houston’s connections to Latin America and supports our regional economy by making it easier for travelers to reach the fourth-largest city in the U.S.,” Szczesniak said in a statement. “As we prepare to welcome the world for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, choice matters. This service strengthens our connectivity and reinforces Houston’s role as a global city.”
