Multiple delays have prevented a new Freebirds World Burrito location from opening at 3112 W. Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, an employee with public relations firm Dog and Duck confirmed March 17. The location was originally planned to open in September; however, a new opening date has not yet been set. The earliest the location could open would be in early April. Freebirds World Burrito is an Austin-based Tex-Mex chain that serves burritos, tacos, bowls and salads that can be customized according to customers’ tastes. The restaurant has locations across Texas, including in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. www.freebirds.com
