Humble ISD officials opened a new playground at Atascocita Springs Elementary in Atascocita on May 20. Officials noted the playground is coming as part of the district's $775 million bond approved by voters in 2022. The dinosaur-themed playground features a 30-foot volcano tower with two slides, lookout watch towers and tropical jungles teeming with dinosaurs. District officials said the playground is open to the public when school is not in session.
