The district announced in a July 13 news release that the outdoor graduation capacity will be limited to 25% versus the 50% originally thought due to a regional rise in coronavirus cases. Graduates from the district's six high schools will have a limited number of tickets they can obtain based on graduating class size.
According to a graduation procedures video put together by the district, graduates as well as family and friends in attendance will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing measures per state guidelines.
Here are how many tickets are allowed for each student per high school:
- Kingwood High School ceremony on July 20: four tickets
- Kingwood Park High School ceremony on July 21: six tickets
- Summer Creek High School ceremony on July 22: five tickets
- Humble High School ceremony on July 23: five tickets
- Atascocita High School ceremony on July 24: four tickets
- Quest Early College High School ceremony on July 25: 15 tickets
