Construction on a new McDonald’s in Atascocita is expected to begin in May, according to a Sept. 25 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

McDonald’s is known for its burgers, fries, chicken nuggets and McFlurries. The burger chain has more than 36,000 locations across the world, according to the company’s website.

While a projected opening date has not been announced, construction on the project is expected to wrap up in September, per the filing.
