QDOBA Mexican Eats opened a new location in Humble on Oct. 20, marking the beginning of the restaurant chain's expansion in the Greater Houston area, according to an Oct. 20 release.

QDOBA offers Mexican-inspired cuisine including burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas and nachos.

The big picture

Per the release, local franchisee Chad Owaida is the owner of the new Humble location and has plans to bring more restaurant locations to Katy, Cypress, Tomball, Spring, Richmond, Memorial and Uptown.


“Houston is a city that thrives on bold flavors, diversity, and community, all values that QDOBA shares,” Owaida said in a statement. “I’m proud to bring QDOBA back to the Greater Houston Area and even more excited to expand across the metro area so Houstonians can enjoy the convenience, freshly-prepared quality ingredients, and flavor that QDOBA is known for.”
