Officials with Nick the Greek announced plans to open the company's fourth location in Texas via an April 2 news release.

What's on the menu

Based in California, Nick the Greek offers a menu of Mediterranean-inspired salads, bowls and gyros, as well as authentic Greek treats, including baklava and loukoumades.

What they're saying
  • "Each opening or market entrance allows us to proudly share our Greek heritage in the best way we know how: through food," said Nick "Baby Nick" Tsigaris, co-founder and chief marketing officer, in a statement. "Every item on our menu reflects the authentic Greek cuisine we grew up enjoying, and we feel grateful to have the opportunity to bring Houstonians together at our new Porter restaurant—one pita or gyro at a time."
  • "We see huge growth potential for Nick the Greek in Texas, as our existing stores perform extremely well and outpace expectations, which shows us there's strong demand for our authentic Greek street food," Chief Operating Officer Komiel Mohsen said in a statement. "Due to Houston's diverse culinary scene, we felt this was the right market to introduce our drive-thru format, while also offering a welcoming dine-in environment for guests to sit and enjoy their meal if they prefer."
