Officials with what was formerly known as Taste of Gnome in Kingwood announced the bakery changed its name to Barking Bird Bakery in late August. Officials said the business is still being run by the same owners and no recipes have been changed. The bakery offers cookies, cupcakes, cakes, specialty coffees and ice cream.
