The Frozen Panda Snowballs & Pops celebrated its grand opening in Humble. The business offers New Orleans-style snowballs available in more than 50 flavors as well as ice cream, Italian ice and milkshakes.Denny’s officials said the diner opened a new location in Humble on June 23. Menu item favorites include the Berry Waffle Slam—made with butter and pearl sugar and topped with seasonal berries and caramel sauce—and country fried steak and eggs.On the Park Toy and Candy Store officials hosted a grand reopening Oct. 11 for the 25-year-old shop, which was recently purchased by Kingwood residents Eric and Candice Calderon. Under the new ownership, On the Park Toy and Candy Store is introducing birthday party packages, mommy-and-me story times, Lego playdates and a helium balloon bar.Kiddie Academy of Humble opened in early October. The campus spans 10,900 square feet and has 12 classrooms with the capacity to serve 200 children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.Officials with The Practice Lab, an indoor golf practice facility, celebrated a Sept. 29 opening of their Kingwood location. The facility includes four practice bays with launch monitors or simulators used to hone golf skills.Acai Brasil opened a new location in Atascocita in September. The business offers Brazilian finger foods in addition to juices, smoothies and acai bowls. A grand opening celebration is planned for Oct. 25.Coming soon

Construction on a Culver’s location in Humble is set to begin in February. The menu features sandwiches, chicken entrees, cheese curds and its signature butter burgers.

Sake Bon, a Japanese eatery, has plans to expand with a location in Kingwood. The restaurant offers all-you-can-eat Japanese cuisine, including soups, sushi, noodles, rice and hibachi.
