Family-owned food truck A Lil’ This A Lil’ That is now operating in Humble, owner Joycelin Hunter-Scott confirmed June 12.

The business is also owned by Hunter-Scott’s sisters Charisma Hunter and Rita Hunter-Jones. The sisters said they were inspired to launch their venture after learning from their mom, Joyce "Queen" Hunter, who worked in the food service industry for 40 years.

According to the business's Facebook page, the A Lil' This A Lil' That boasts a revolving menu of desserts and entrees including:
  • Tacos, nachos and quesadillas
  • Fried catfish and jumbo shrimp
  • Po’ Boys, etouffee and jambalaya
  • Chicken wings
  • Mini pancakes with toppings such as fruity pebbles and cheesecake bites
A Lil’ This A Lil’ That was originally launched in 2020, but this is the first time the business has operated out of a food truck, Hunter-Scott said. She and her sisters still offer event catering and meal preparation services, which is what they started with five years ago.
